Is the packaging environmentally friendly?

We take pride in our commitment to sustainability, and our packaging reflects this dedication. Our primary packaging is crafted from environmentally-friendly glass, known for its chemical inertness and the ability to be indefinitely reused. Not only does glass maintain the integrity of our products, but it also reduces our environmental footprint by minimizing single-use plastic waste. To further facilitate recycling, our labels are designed to be easily peeled from the glass bottles, simplifying the recycling process. When it comes to secondary packaging, we opt for cardboard materials that are not only eco-friendly but also entirely recyclable. By choosing responsible packaging options, we aim to protect the planet while delivering the quality and efficacy our customers expect from our products.

Ordering and Payments

Where is my order?

Usually, we ship within one to two business days. If you still haven’t received your package after five business days, please contact us at info@botaniquedorient.com. We will assist you! 🙂

For orders within the EU, shipping may take a bit longer (3-5 days).

I have problems with ordering.

There can be many reasons, why you’re not able to complete your order. Sometimes it’s a bug that will solve itself if you wait a little before trying again. If your issues persist however, reach out to our support team at support@botaniquedorient.com. We’ll gladly help you.

Which payment options do I have?

We have chosen Klarna and PayPal as payment methods because they have been standard providers in German online commerce for years and ensure the security of your data. Both providers also offer buyer protection. Additionally, you can pay via Apple or Google Pay or use wire transfer as a payment method. Please note that your order will only be shipped after your payment has been processed.  

Additionally, both providers offer a wide range of payment options without requiring an account. For instance, within Germany, you can pay via PayPal without an account using your credit or debit card. Unfortunately, outside of Germany, PayPal does not yet offer this option without a user account.

With Klarna, you can pay by credit card, instant transfer, or direct debit – without creating a Klarna customer account. If you don’t have a credit card and prefer to transfer from your bank, you can do so with Klarna using instant transfer and direct debit. However, this currently only works if you reside in Germany.

Delivery and Returns

How much are the delivery costs?

We currently offer free EU wide shipping. Unfortunately, we don’t support international deliveries, yet. 

Do you ship internationally?

No, unfortunately as a small brand that only just started, we won’t be able to offer international shipping as of now. We currently only ship EU wide and hope to advance to international shipping soon. Read here for more information on shipping.

How long does shipping take?

Generally, we deliver in Germany within 1-3 days. In exceptional cases, it may take a bit longer, but we will inform you directly on the homepage! 

For orders abroad, shipping may take a bit longer (3-5 days).

Can I cancel or return the order?

If you decide to cancel your order, please contact as as soon as possible via support@botaniquedorient.com so that we can process your cancellation before it’s shipped. If the package is already shipped, cancellation won’t possible. 

 

You can exercise your right of withdrawal within 14 days and cancel the purchase contract. Detailed instructions are provided in the withdrawal policy.

Please email us at support@botaniquedorient.com and then return the goods to us. We do not cover the return shipping costs. We will refund your money once the package has arrived back with us and we have reviewed your withdrawal.

Please note that you are only eligible for a withdrawal in case of unopened and unused or damaged products!

I typed a wrong address. What can I do?

No worries, this happens more often than you think! 🙂 Please contact us as soon as possible via email or phone and let us know what needs to be corrected or added. In most cases, our system detects an incorrect address and does not send out your order. We would have contacted you soon anyway if there was a missing house number or a typo in the postal code.

If your order is already on its way and cannot be delivered, it will return to us, and we will get in touch with you. We will gladly send it out again!

Can I deliver to a Packstation?

Of course, you can! 🙂️ For shipping to a Packstation, we need the recipient’s name, the recipient’s Post number, and the Packstation number with location and postal code. The recipient will receive an SMS with a PIN as soon as the package arrives at the Packstation.

I think my package was lost. What can I do?

In this case, please contact our customer support. We will then file an inquiry with DHL and make sure to find out what happened to your package as soon as possible. Please do not file an inquiry with DHL yourself; we will handle it for you.
